A bright light, mentor, volunteer, teacher, traveller, partner, sister, friend, and a light of positivity – Barbara (Barb) Mullaly was all of those things to so many.
Her friends and family, former students and colleagues created this award in her memory.
Barb had a tremendous passion for sport and was always determined to create an environment of fairness and equality. She would advocate for better education, fairness, and wellness for all.
Her four-decade career as a classroom instructor, coach and nationally decorated athletic administrator began in 1967 at Prince of Wales College. When UPEI was formed in 1969, she moved on to begin a long career at the university.
